Catalog description

Anthropology of education blends history and culture with learning, practice, and schooling. This course explores social processes, cultural practices, and much else as they appear in learning environments. In this course, we will explore anthropological methodologies and theories as they relate to education as well as engage with prominent anthropology of education texts.
