SCIENCE IN THE GARDEN STATE

Catalog description

This course is designed for students who plan to be K-8 teachers and wish to deepen their understanding of scientific concepts. Aligned with national and state standards, this course is one that supports middle grade specialization in science. Students will build pedagogical content knowledge of scientific properties and concepts; active exploration and inquiry activities will be emphasized. Service learning will be an integral part of this course.
