GATEWAY TO THE NJ TEACHING PROFESSION

Catalog description

This course introduces the New Jersey teaching profession and serves as a gateway course to the Stockton TEDU Program. Legislation and standards related to teacher preparation, evaluation, and student performance in NJ public schools will be covered. Note: All prerequisites for entry into the TEDU program must be met prior to moving on to the Clinical Experience Semester. This includes the GPA, criminal background check, and Praxis Core (or equiv).
