Prerequisite: GNM 1125 or mastery of 2 years of high school algebra. Quantitative Reasoning Intensive course (Q1).Empirical frequency distributions: the means, median, mode, and standard deviation. Presents basic concepts from sampling, elementary probability theory and statistical inference. The student uses the computer for problem-solving. CSIS 1206 may be substituted.Faculty: E. ELMORE
