BALLET II

Catalog description

Prerequisite: DANC 2401 with a grade of C or better and Permission of Instructor. Open only to Theatre, Music, and Dance majors and minors. Course continues training from Ballet I, further expanding connections within ballet technique. Continued training in alignment, strength, flexibility, vocabulary, and articulation, with an increased emphasis on musical phrasing. Course work includes placing technique in historical and contemporary context. May be repeated seven times for credit.
