COASTAL ZONE MANAGEMENT AND COASTAL PROCESSES

Catalog description

A short review with illustrations of typical Mid-Atlantic shoreline processes and the impact of storms on the environment. Focus will be on NJ State and US Army Corps coastal regulatory programs, NJ Tidelands rules and the National Flood Insurance Program as it applies to coastal development. Selected current projects will be reviewed by the students. Cross-listed with ENSC 5310.
