Prerequisite: CSIS 2102 and CSIS 3230 with a grade of C or better.The rapidly growing use and reliance on modern technology for communications, commerce and government has increased the need to protect data in storage and during transmission. This course includes the study of principles and practice regarding the protection of digital information and intrusion detection and response. Specific topics include basic concepts of cryptography, social engineering, cyber crime, privacy, and computer and network forensics.Faculty: M. OLAN
