Add this lineADML, FPSY, JUST elective.The course explores how the United State criminal justice system views and addresses the use of legal and illegal drugs. Topics to be covered include: the history of drug use and prohibition in the U.S.; the types and psychophysiological effects of drugs currently available in the United States; patterns, trends, and scope of illicit drug use; the relationship between drugs and crime; and the nature and impact of the criminal justice system response to drugs.
