CRIMINAL JUSTICE CAPSTONE

Catalog description

This course applies content to issues in policing, courts, corrections, and victimology. Over several writing assignments, students will review the literature to critically analyze a topic in Criminal Justice using criminological theories and research methods (e.g., quantitative, qualitative, legal) to culminate in a 15-30-page APA-style writing assignment based on empirical findings. Students will also complete a presentation using appropriate computer techniques. Topics vary by instructor.
