Catalog description
Governmental practices designed to prevent, mitigate, and respond to disasters of all kinds will be discussed. Students will engage in and will become familiar with training procedures of emergency managers and responders. In addition, policies and procedures developed for prevention of and response to natural disasters, man-made disasters and terrorist attacks will be critically analyzed.
