prerequisite: BIOL 2110, CPLS 2120 or permission of instructor. Bioinformatics is a field in which computers are used to help answer biological questions. This course will cover biological databases, analysis of DNA and protein sequences, assessing sequence similarity, using DNA and protein sequences to predict structure, the study of genomes, and proteomes.Faculty: T.
