TRAUMA INFORMED YOGA

Catalog description

The objective of this course is to prepare students to work with a clinical population that has endured traumatic experiences and to provide treatment interventions that are cognitively and somatically based. The course will incorporate mindfulness, sensorimotor and somatic theory, yoga psychology and philosophy as well as compassion focused therapy interventions.
