Catalog description

Permission of Instruction Required. Communication Studies students are recommended to take this professional development course prior to their internship. Students will work with Career Education and Development to complete the following professional development milestones: creating a Handshake account, resume creation and approval by CED, and attendance at 1 CED program. This includes but is not limited to career/alumni panels, career fairs, employer information sessions, etc. Additional requirements vary per semester. Students will learn about branding and self promotion and developing their own professional storytelling skills.
