<b>Prerequisite:</b><i> CHEM 2110 or equivalent. Not open to students with credit for either CHEM 2120 or CHEM 2140.</i><br><b>Corequisite:</b><i> CHEM 2155.</i><br>This is a second semester general chemistry course, covering the same material as CHEM 2140. Atomic structure and chemical bonding; redox reactions and electrochemical potentials; chemical kinetics; chemical thermodynamics; nuclear chemistry; and descriptive chemistry of some representative elements and transition metals. Includes laboratory work in CHEM 2155. Not open to students with credit for either CHEM 2120 or CHEM 2140.<b> Please make sure you also register for CHEM 2155.</b><br>
