This course focuses on the complexities of achieving and sustaining competitive advantage. Content includes a synthesis of strategic thinking and planning, the importance of innovation capabilities and the dynamics of growing a health care system. The analysis of external business environments, internal organizational factors, the development/selection of strategic alternatives, and strategy implementation will be explored. Internal innovation processes and business expansion approaches will also be studied in depth.
