Catalog description
This course is designed for students interested in health science or research/laboratory careers. We will explore the microanatomy, function, and molecular composition of cells, tissues and organs. Students will learn to identify cell types of each organ in the human body, describe the function of major cellular organelles. The laboratory portion of this course will emphasize the morphological recognition of specific cell types and tissues using light microscopy.
