Catalog description

The study of vertebrate embryos from gamete formation through organ formation. Covers classical descriptive and comparative embryology, as well as current molecular and cellular concepts about vertebrate development. The lab exercises utilize sea urchins, frog and chick embryos, and prepared slides. Offered in alternate Spring terms. (Formerly BIOL 2140)
