Catalog description

This course will explore the microbial world, emphasizing human health and illness. Infectiousdiseases will be used as a foundation for understanding microbial growth, physiology and growthcontrol. Emphasis will be placed on microbial control and the prevention of disease spread in bothhospital and community settings. The course includes a lecture and laboratory component.
