<b>Prerequisite:</b><i> Admission to the BASK Program.</i><br><b>Corequisite:</b><i> BASK 1703.<br>Quantitative Reasoning Intensive course (Q1).</i><br>This course is designed to introduce liberal arts students to a wide range of mathematical concepts and tools. Special attention is given to the value of applying a quantitative point of view to a situation. Topics may include problem solving, set theory. Propositional logic, probability, statistics, and matrix algebra. Basic mathematical skills will be reinforced in the context of the above topics. Attendance in mandatory.
