PRINTMAKING II

Catalog description

<b>Prerequisite:</b><i> ARTV 1161, ARTV 1162 and ARTV 2167.<br> Arts course (A).</i><br>This course will offer an investigation of printmaking techniques not taught in Printmaking I. Examples of possible topics include the following: relief printing (woodcut and linoleum cuts), intaglio (acid etching), and lithography. Students will be encouraged to use their Drawing I and Two-Dimensional Design experience for concepts and imagery. Printmaking I or Printmaking II will fulfill this requirement.<br><i>Faculty: A.
