Not open to those with credit for ARTV 3766. This course examines the printmaking discipline within the context of contemporary art and design practices. Readings and critical theory specific to print media will coincide with exploration of advanced printmaking techniques. Students will conduct research and propose individualized projects. Addressing the formal, technical, and most importantly, conceptual complexities of contemporary printmaking, students will further develop the direction of their own aesthetic interests.
