Prerequisite: Not open to those with credit for GAH 1050 or GAH 2158.Recommended: ARTV 2176.Arts course. (A)European and American art of the nineteenth century with a focus on painting; some sculpture and architecture also included. Emphasis on major styles and artists, including Delacroix, Manet, Monet and Van Gogh. Class projects include research and writing for an exhibition at the Noyes Museum featuring paintings by South Jersey artist George Washington Nicholson.Faculty: K. N. OGDEN
