Catalog description

This class focuses on the action of light in deep space—the changing color and movement of light, how light and shadow define structure—which characterizes landscape painting. The motifs used will be interiors and outdoor spaces. How linear (1 and 2 point) perspective and atmospheric (or aerial) perspective create spatial illusion will be studied, Techniques include direct (color-mixing) and indirect (glazing) painting methods.
