<i>Arts course (A).</i><br>Course content includes fundamentals of reading, playing basic brass literature, ensemble playing, harmonization, improvisation and sight-reading. Intended for the student who has little or no previous brass study or music reading. Open to anyone who wishes to learn how to play a brass instrument. Emphasizes development of jazz trumpet technique. Student must provide own instrument.<br><i>Faculty: STAFF</i>
