BEGINNING DANCE TECHNIQUE

Catalog description

Prerequisite: Not open to ARTP majors and minors.Arts Course (A).Course provides basic training in modern dance technique. Emphasis is on development of fundamental movement skills: flexibility, strength, coordination, and endurance. Exposure to various movement styles will help increase students' appreciation of modern dance as an art form. May be repeated three times for credit.
