Catalog description

The goal of this course is to understand how campus-community partnerships are built and maintained. These partnerships cover a wide range of common concerns - health, education, housing, and neighborhood are but a few examples. In this course, students will be expected to work hands-on with community organizations. In addition, student teams will learn to design projects that address community-defined needs. The emphasis of this course will be assisting community organizations achieve their mission and goals.
