This course surveys the prehistoric archaeology of North America, north of Mexico. It will examine the culture histories of the following regions: the Northeast, the Middle Atlantic, the Southeast, the Southwest, California and the Northwest Coast, the Plains and the Great Lakes, as well as the Arctic and Subarctic.
