Catalog description

Students will be trained in the fundamentals of digital scholarly editing of primary sources, including transcription, annotation, and conversion to XML, and will participate in preparing letters for digital publication on the Catharine Maria Sedgwick Online Letters website. No prerequisites, but students should have some familiarity with cursive writing as they will be working with handwritten letters. Meeting times to be arranged with interns.
