INDEPENDENT STUDY CAPSTONE PROJECT

Catalog description

Prerequisite: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution. Open to MAAS graduate students only. AMST 5000 Proseminar and AMST 5001 Research Methods required before enrolling. Special Project Request Form Required. Work with a faculty advisor on an interdisciplinary capstone project that reflects student interests and contributes to the field of American Studies. Capstone projects might include teaching plans, service learning, digital humanities, artistic projects, etc. Projects must be approved by an advisor and the program Director, and final results will be presented to the American Studies faculty and students.May be repeated one time for credit.
