Catalog description

This course explores the intricate relationship between trauma and literature, examining how storytelling provides a unique space where trauma - both personal and collective - can be preserved, processed, and/or transformed. Through close readings of texts we will investigate how authors confront the challenge of articulating the unspeakable, navigating the tension between silence and expression.
