This course covers the legal, political, and economic issues relating to the use of the ocean and its resources. The goal is to provide students a theoretical and practical understanding of domestic and international policies on topics such as navigation, exploration, fisheries, coastal resilience, critical minerals, biodiversity, geoengineering, and more.
