Principled Entrepreneurial Leadership

Catalog description

This course will challenge the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs to think critically about how their personal values and principles inform the difficult decisions that will arise as they grow their business. Students will learn frameworks to crystalize their own personal and organizational values and principles through exercises and experiential learning opportunities both in and outside of class. A selection of readings and case studies will provide students with tangible examples of the challenges other prominent entrepreneurs have faced. Each class will be full of highly immersive discussion, featuring conversations with entrepreneurial guest speakers, role-play scenarios, and facilitated break-out sessions. Through conversations with case protagonists and each other, students will leave the class more prepared to brave complex decisions with no clear right answer.
