The poet Mary Oliver once asked, 'Tell me what it is you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?' That is what this course is about--using tools, methods, and techniques to figure out what it is you want to do with your one life. The course takes you through a process that is constructed around the metaphor of an expedition. We begin by understanding the concept and tension of free-will versus influences outside your control (nurture, nature, chance, and religion), then the expedition commences at the trailhead--your starting point. From there we'll use intentional exercises and a process to determine your destination, who you want on your team, what happens when storms hit, how to manage detours, tools to navigate and stay on track, and understanding the implications of reaching your summit.
