Catalog description

This course continues the Research Driven Inspiration (RDI) work you began in STRAMGT 546. You take the research you started in Foundations and carry it further, deepening your understanding of your space and building toward genuine conviction and a differentiated point of view. The course is self-directed and applied. You drive your own research, conducting further interviews and primary research, synthesizing what you learn, and sharing progress with the cohort. We revisit parts of the framework to sharpen your practice, but the focus is on doing the work and advancing your research, not re-teaching the method. You will leave with meaningfully deeper expertise in your domain, a stronger evidence base, and clearer conviction about where the real opportunities lie. Prerequisite: STRAMGT 546 (RDI Foundations). REQUIRED PRE-WORK: Due before the first session. You will complete a brief research proposal that picks up from your 546 work: where your research stands, what you most need to learn next, and how you will advance it this quarter. This keeps class time focused on moving your research forward from day one. Details to be shared via email and on Canvas.
