Catalog description

For genetic counseling students, medical students, residents, and fellows. Students will learn role and landscape of clinical genetic testing. Topics include principles of clinical screening and diagnostic testing, role of clinical assessment in test selection, critical assessment of medical literature to interpret lab results, mechanics of test ordering, consenting, and insurance and billing for genetic testing.
