Topics in Screenwriting: Inside the Writers' Room

Catalog description

A writing workshop where showrunner and television producer/writer Emily Fox guides a select group of students through the writers' room process. Students will analyze successful pilots as well as learn how to develop outlines, write scenes, do a "table read," and work in a collaborative "writers' room" environment. Fox will also invite guests from the television industry and cover elements of production and business. Enrollment limited by application and approval of instructor.
