Sexual Assault Prevention

Catalog description

This course series consists of a classroom lecture component (SOMGEN 160A) and a workshop component (160B), which can be taken separately or concurrently. SOMGEN 160A, the lecture component, will focus on learning about the theory and best practices in sexual assault prevention programming and evaluation, including reading pertinent literature. SOMGEN 160B, the workshop component, will focus on learning hands-on skills to reduce gender-based violence in campus communities.
