Catalog description

Engineering appraisal and economic valuation of energy assets and projects. Course examples span a range of energy assets including oil/gas and renewable energy projects. Course covers methods of estimating productive capacity, reserves, operating costs, depletion and depreciation, value of future profits, taxation, fair market value, and discounted cash flow valuation (DCF) method. Original or guided research problems on economic topics with report.
