Catalog description

Largescale studies in psychological and neuroscience research open the possibility of asking new questions about how macroscale policy changes affect families and children at a more fine-grained level. This will be a project-based course, geared toward advanced graduate students, who are ready to lead their own analysis projects. Students will explore potential datasets (or come with their own), develop an original research question, and use a natural experiment or quasi-experimental design to link a macroscale change to microscale developmental outcomes.
