This course explores the intersection of artificial intelligence and inclusive practices to enhance the lives of individuals with IDD. In partnership with the ai.4.idd project, students will collaborate with young adults to identify challenges in their pursuit of independence, academic success, and employment skills. Through hands-on design, developing accessible training modules, and evaluating AI tools, students will engage in a practical, research-driven experience emphasizing user-centered design and community involvement, ultimately gaining valuable skills for a more equitable future.
