Drawing on a wide range of sources and disciplines, we will explore this question together through a combination of readings, activities, field trips, activities, and exercises designed to expand our understanding of the relationship between knowing, feeling, and believing. Designed for first year students, this class will challenge conventional assumptions of these as distinct domains, pushing us to consider what it feels like to know something.
