Literature and Rage: The Poetics of Collective Emotions

This course explores the relationship between anger, rage, and poetic narratives, examining how literature provides a unique space in which rage - both personal and collective - can be preserved, processed, transformed, and at times manipulated. Through close readings of texts, we will investigate how authors confront the challenge of articulating intense emotions across different literary forms as well as in online environments. The course also examines the dynamics linking narratives of rage, resilience, and change.
