Catalog description

The process of denazification played a pivotal role in the culture and politics of the early Federal Republic of Germany. What it accomplished, could have accomplished and was intended to accomplish is subject to debates to the present day. This course combines an in-depth look at denazification processes, a history of cultural reflections on denazification, and political debates about denazification from the 1940s until today.
