This course is formatted as a journal club, focusing on past and current research on disaster and climate risk, towards the development of new frontiers in risk and resilience research. The course's primary objective is to bring together researchers from diverse fields - including climate science, engineering, social sciences, urban planning, and economics - to develop a broader understanding of risk and resilience across disciplines. The course is designed for graduate students engaged in risk and resilience research and will be organized around weekly readings and discussions.
