The world is changing rapidly in terms of the growth of technology such as Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, the need for more sustainable development, and the demographics of the construction workforce. In this rapidly changing world, we need to think about construction business differently. In this class, students will learn how to start and effectively manage a modern construction business, including the following topics: developing a unique value proposition for a business, developing a business and a company to last, developing strategic thinking capabilities, growth vectors for the business, concepts related to supply chain management, developing technology strategies, partnerships, and innovation. By the end of the course, students will have learned about how to start and manage a construction business in an era of unprecedented change in the world.
