Introduction to the occurrence and movement of water in the terrestrial environment at the scale of watersheds. Development of conceptual and quantitative understanding of hydrologic processes, including precipitation, evaporation, transpiration, snowmelt, infiltration, subsurface flow, surface runoff, and streamflow. Emphasis is on observation and measurement, data analysis, conceptual understanding, quantitative models, and prediction. This course will not be offered AY 24-25
