Catalog description

Open to biosciences PhD and/or MD students writing a research proposal for NIH (F31 or F30) or other funder. Most appropriate once students have completed or are actively preparing for qualifying exams. The Grant Writing Academy's award-winning Proposal Bootcamp is available to explore in a self-paced format. Course materials guide in outlining, drafting, and revising NIH Biosketch, Specific Aims, Research Strategy, Career Development Plan, as well as the many other proposal documents. Weekly assignments, readings, videos, and reflection activities share strategies that reviewers appreciate. Students meet twice with Grant Coaches for 1:1 feedback and guidance during the course.
