Independent study section for TAPS Ph.D. Students who have completed their coursework and are working on their Third-Year Oral Exam Research. Enrollment is restricted to third-year TAPS Ph.D. students who have completed 135 units, all department course requirements, and are currently working on their Third-Year Oral Exam. The 135 units can be a mix of transfer credit and units completed at Stanford.
