Accelerated First-Year Swahili, Second Quarter

Continuation of SWAHLANG 1A. Completes the first-year sequence in two rather than three quarters. Students develop first-year proficiency in Swahili at an accelerated pace through active language use and participation in Swahili-speaking practices. Emphasis is on development of speaking, listening, reading, and writing through authentic materials and appropriate cultural contexts. Fulfills the University foreign language requirement. Prerequisite: SWAHLANG 1A or consent of instructor.
