Catalog description

Delicious by Design is a project-based Action Lab that treats hospital food systems - which serve millions of meals daily - as an untapped lever for transformation. Working alongside pioneering partners including Greener by Default, Stanford Health Care, and Kaiser Permanente, interdisciplinary student teams investigate how to shift hospital menus toward meals that are plant-forward, climate-smart, and unapologetically delicious. The goal: make the healthy choice the delicious, sustainable, and systemic choice. Students produce client-ready deliverables with real-world impact potential. Graduate and advanced undergraduate students from sustainability, medicine, business, law, public health, and beyond are encouraged to apply. Weekly in-person attendance is required. Admission by application only, please apply via form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScuPPXsK9V27qB6L0gWCemb-W8McQa2FtaIkbY7R5hEALG-Ow/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=115219852433052725003 . Early applications are encouraged so submit by March 1 to receive an enrollment code by March 4. Late applications will be considered until March 13th. This is a Cardinal Course certified by the Haas Center for Public Service.
